Spear’s Review

Aloha College Marbella is a not-for-profit educational foundation in the heart of Malaga, Spain. It offers the UK national curriculum, the international primary curriculum, IGCSEs, the IB diploma and international A-Levels. Students can also receive qualifications under the Spanish system. 

As well as excellent sports facilities, the secondary school has seven science labs and two IT labs. Believing that premium pastoral care is the key to unlocking young minds, creatives are well catered to at Aloha College, with three art studios, music lessons and a theatre.

As a certified ‘eco-school’, Aloha College has integrated sustainability into its teaching and management model. With more than 50 nationalities represented among the students, the college’s core values are honesty, respect, effort, care and resilience.

Academics

46 per cent of IGCSE results are grades 7–9. 

31 per cent of results at A-Level are A* or A. 

Average IB score is 35.5. 

University and college destinations

Aloha College Marbella graduates have attended prestigious universities worldwide. In the UK, students have accepted places at institutions like Oxford, Cambridge and Imperial College London. In the US, graduates have chosen top universities like Harvard and Stanford. European destinations include universities such as the University of Amsterdam and the University of Barcelona.

Graduates have also gone to institutions in Canada, Australia, and Switzerland.

Admissions

To begin the application process, prospective parents should fill in an enquiry form on the school’s website. They can then submit relevant documentation and arrange a visit to the school. Students are also required to take a placement test, submit references and attend an interview.
