Mr Paul Tulley is a London-based plastic and reconstructive surgeon whose practice is centred on advanced aesthetic procedures, particularly facelifts and rhinoplasty.

With nearly two decades of experience as a consultant, he treats a high-profile clientele that includes media executives, celebrities and politicians, as well as international patients who travel to the UK for surgery. Tulley trained at Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School before completing specialist plastic surgery training in London. He later undertook further fellowships abroad, including microsurgical training in Taiwan and cosmetic surgery training in the US.

He now practises across several private clinics and hospitals in London, where he works closely with his patients, from initial consultation to recovery and aftercare. ‘We’ll usually see [patients] two or three times before the surgery as we come towards a plan, and then keep a very close and regular relationship after the procedure,’ he tells Spear’s.

He is a member of the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons, the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the British Society of Rhinoplasty Surgeons.

Deep plane facelifts are commonly combined with other procedures around the face including eyelid and browlift surgery, and particularly fat transfer. This adds volume, enhances the facial contours further, and the stem cells in the fat enhance the quality of the overlying skin to give a softer look in female patients. His rhinoplasty surgery produces a nose of optimal shape and proportions with the patient’s other features to enhance these while producing a natural change to the nose itself. He avoids an overly operated surgical look. His abdominoplasty surgery combines a strong rectus muscle repair with liposuction (Brazilian abdominoplasty) to produce a flat stomach and optimal abdominal contours.

Consultations take place in Harley Street and Knightsbridge, Central London and Surrey. Surgery is performed in a number of the highest-quality hospitals in London. Patients are seen at least two to three times pre-operatively and closely followed over a number of months following surgery until their recovery is complete. International patients commonly travel for surgery from all parts of the world, including the US, the Gulf, Europe and Asia, and will usually stay for at least two weeks after surgery, returning later for further follow up.
