Ed Woolgar set up the super-prime lettings service at Russell Simpson, and notes that the department has gone from strength to strength.
‘We had a record year [in 2025] in terms of revenue across all three offices at different price points,’ he tells Spear’s. ‘The sales market was particularly challenging, so we found a lot of clients turned to renting out their properties.’
Woolgar, who has decades of experience gleaned at Chestertons, Harrods and Strutt & Parker, says he regularly lets homes across prime central London for over £5,000 per week. ‘Our uniqueness is that we are a small, family-run boutique agency,’ he adds. ‘The business means so much to everyone, and this does trickle down to the employees.
‘Service and reputation is so important to the business.’
