Craig Kemsley is a leading figure in private client tax and was shortlisted in the Private Client Accountant of the Year category at the 2024 and 2025 Spear’s Awards. He advises eminent families and family offices across the UK, Europe and the Middle East, and looks to ‘combine Big Four experience with the accessibility of a boutique firm’ through his firm, August Private. 

‘Our clients have direct access to vastly experienced professionals in real time,’ Kemsley tells Spear’s. Departing from traditional hourly billing, August operates on a fixed-fee basis, aligning its interests with those of its clients.

Kemsley has built a strong referral network across the HNW landscape, and now plans to expand the firm into Zurich and Dubai.
