Harry Gates co-founded The Divorce Surgery with Samantha Woodham in 2018, pioneering the one lawyer, one couple model that is now seeing broader take-up in family law circles.

One benefit of the model, he says, is that couples are encouraged to focus on realistic outcomes at a much earlier stage in the process than they otherwise would.

Gates has been practising as a barrister at 4PB since 2001, specialising in the financial consequences of relationship breakdown and children law disputes.
