Daniel Eames, who joined Michelmores in 2020, heads up the firm’s family team. With a client base of foreign nationals and expats, the partner regularly advises HNW clients on all issues of family law, handling cases throughout the EU, US, Australasia, Asia and the Middle East. 

His work frequently involves businesses, trusts and other foreign assets: in the High Court he has successfully defended a £100 million offshore trust from financial claims, and acted for a Danish national in a complex marriage case involving cryptocurrency.

He is currently chair of the International Committee of Resolution and a fellow of the International Academy of Family Lawyers, as well as a member of Lord Justice Moylan’s International Family Law Committee.
