Spear’s Review
PwC’s Sajid Khan leads the firm’s tax practice in Qatar, where the firm has increased its foothold since 2022 with the opening of a Doha office – the third in the region.
The new Middle Eastern base, Khan said at the time, serves as a ‘testimony to our commitment toward Qatar and continued investment in this important market and our clients’, while adding that the firm would continue to play ‘a leading role in some of the landmark projects in the country’.
The adviser, who has worked as a partner for PwC in the Middle East since 2013, studied mechanical engineering at the University of Birmingham. Khan has previously commented on tax issues in local media, telling the Gulf Times that the country’s tax regime was maturing with the introduction of the Dhareeba online tax management system in 2020.
