EY Private Tax is a 500+ strong multidisciplinary team with a breadth of technical experience across both personal and corporate tax advisory.

With the recent integration of Frank Hirth (now called US/UK Cross Border), a market-leading firm focused on private clients with US connections, the firm has significantly augmented the capabilities of the Private Tax team, enabling it to provide complex US tax advisory and compliance services alongside the UK. 

The integration of this business has significantly bolstered the Private Tax practice and helped EY to realise its ambition to be a leading firm in private client services. As international wealthy families increasingly have ties in both the UK and US, the combined team is now well placed to provide clients with the requisite insights and experience as they face the increasing complexity arising when UK and US tax issues interact.

The in-depth experience of the Private Tax practice enables the team to assist both clients who are domestically focused and those who are internationally orientated. The team has great experience in advising on residency issues and individuals who are resident but non-domiciled in the UK.

As part of a network of Private Tax teams established in over 50 countries, the UK team is renowned for its agility and the global coverage it provides. This interconnected approach has been particularly important in the last 24 months as clients adapt to new challenges and opportunities.
