Tim Spillane joined Bird & Bird from Stewarts in September 2019 as a partner in its esteemed international employment group.

He advises both senior individuals and businesses on employment, partnership, LLP and shareholder issues including recruitment, dismissal and reorganisation; contentious work, with particular involvement in investigations, business protection matters, team moves, whistleblowing and discrimination; and High Court and Employment Tribunal litigation. 

Spillane is no stranger to high-profile cases. He recently represented a senior executive in a high-value whistleblowing and libel claim against a global company and advised a hedge fund partner in a cross-jurisdictional dispute with his previous firm.
