Gregory Smye-Rumsby

Spear’s Review

Since joining Dixon Wilson as a trainee in 2006, Oxford graduate Gregory Smye-Rumsby has built a steadily expanding practice supporting HNW individuals and families, landed estates and entrepreneurs with their financial and tax affairs. His practice is decidedly international, with the majority of non-UK clients hailing from western Europe, the United States and India. These include non-UK domiciled individuals looking to move to Britain.

Dixon Wilson has two dozen directors and partners across its offices in London and Paris. The firm has said that it seeks to provide its UK and international client base with legitimate and robust tax advice that holds up to scrutiny and remains compliant with current tax legislation.

Adviser Profile

Gregory advises a range of private clients on their financial and tax affairs. This is focused on individuals and families and their financial interests including private companies, trusts and charities. It includes both compliance and advice.

He is often advising landed estates, entrepreneurs and non-UK domiciled individuals who are moving to the UK.

Gregory holds the ICAEW audit qualification and is a responsible individual for audit purposes. He is a contributing author to Business Families and Family Businesses: The STEP Handbook for Advisers, published by Globe Law and Business.

Gregory trained at Dixon Wilson, becoming a Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser. He has been a partner since 2015.
