Callum Galbraith acts as a ‘long-term trusted adviser’ for a clientele that includes musicians, actors, actresses and their agents, as well as politicians and business people. 

A media specialist since the start of his career, Galbraith rejoined Hamlins as a partner in 2018 from Russells and has been ‘extremely busy’ since. He has seen two privacy trials ‘settle on the eve of their start’ and has been instructed in a number of phone hacking and reputation management matters.

Galbraith is no stranger to securing landmark damages as well as a number of widely reported public apologies and judgements. 

Some cases, however, are not always made public – and often that’s a marker of a good reputation lawyer, he says. ‘Sometimes I’ve advising clients to not do anything. That’s not always in the lawyer’s best interest financially, but it is in the client’s best interest. That’s what we want.’
