Alan Hooks is a managing director and head of private clients at Julius Baer, the Zurich-listed private bank and global wealth management firm. 

Hooks has been with Julius Baer for over a decade. Based in London, he joined the business in 2013 when he moved across from Bank of America Merrill Lynch following the Swiss bank’s acquisition of its international arm. He previously served as head of wealth planning at Lloyds and head of private wealth at HSBC. 

Hooks’ vast experience in supporting HNW and UHNW clients with wealth preservation, tax-led structures and succession planning means he is well placed to further develop Julius Baer’s UK private client business and guide the bank through the various challenges of the modern era.
