Farzad Billimoria, HSBC Global Private Banking’s head of private banking in the UAE, describes himself as a ‘result-oriented individual highly driven by values and ethics’. 

He moved to the UAE two decades ago after joining HSBC as a relationship manager in Mumbai, India. As managing director, Billimoria now implements and drives the bank’s strategy in the region and looks to grow its AuM and revenue streams. 

One responsibility in which he takes great pride is ‘managing and guiding the UAE’s largest UHNW non-resident Indian client portfolio for the bank’. He has also headed the bank’s expansion in the country and set up offices in Dubai International Financial Centre and Abu Dhabi Global Market. 

He says that his goal is to ‘deliver first-class customer service and make HSBC the bank of choice for all customers’.
