Spear’s Review
Harriet Joll works as Bonhams’ head of UK wine sales at its flagship New Bond Street base, where she is focused on valuing possible consignments before they are auctioned.
Significant sales have included a case of Romanée-Conti 1988 in 2019 for £246,000 and a collection of fine Burgundies in 2022 which fetched £450,000 in total. She cultivated her deep knowledge of the value of wine working at Christie’s throughout the 2000s in auctions cataloguing a wide variety of fine wines and cognacs.
Part of her role includes interacting with a wide community of growers and wine enthusiasts who frequent Bonhams’ regular specialist events.
