In addition to scheduled group experiences and self-guided trips, the firm offers a bespoke service, where a team of itinerary designers – who all have areas of specialisation that they know intimately – build experiences for their clients individually.

Butterfield’s founder and owner Kathy Butterfield revels in meeting fellow travel ‘fanatics’. She has personally designed more than a hundred travel experiences, visited 40 countries and lived in Japan, India and France, among other countries.
