Spear’s Review
Tod Bradbury, private client director (whiskies) at Justerini & Brooks, can’t help but be excited when he meets someone who doesn’t like whisky, knowing it’s an opportunity to take them on a journey of discovery.
Born in Crieff – home to the oldest Scotch whisky distillery in the world – Bradbury’s passion and love for whisky began at an early age. He now finds great joy in working for a company with unparalleled access to the rarest and most unattainable bottles. ‘The access we have to some of the best liquids in the world is totally unique and gives us an opportunity to build collections for our customers, knowing that we have the credentials and the provenance to match,’ he said.
Justerini & Brooks, established in 1749, is renowned for its collection of rare whiskies and has been entrusted with supplying the British monarchy with fine wines and whisky since the reign of King George III in 1761.

We have supplied every successive British Monarch since the coronation of King George III in 1761. And today, our access is unbeatable. Through our special partnership with Diageo, we are able to connect our clients to some exceptional whiskies: from rare bottles from ‘ghost’ distilleries including recently restored Brora and Port Ellen, to curated collections of single cask bottlings in Prima & Ultima, as well as the most established cask ownership programme in the industry, Diageo’s Casks of Distinction.”
Tod works with both established connoisseurs and those exploring the category for the first time, acting as an expert advisor and consultant to clients seeking to build a collection – a rapidly growing segment of the rare single malt market.
“Justerini & Brooks’ uniqueness is shown through the focus on our relationship-based model. One of the most exciting parts of my position is finding someone who doesn’t like whisky and taking them on a journey of discovery.”
