Scott Capital Partners partner Tom Starkie works predominantly with UK-based families and resident non-doms. With over a decade of experience in wealth planning and financial services, Starkie seeks to build long-term investment solutions with clients and be ‘a voice of calm in the storm’. 

A qualified chartered accountant, Starkie can evaluate the tax implications of different courses of action, and works in tandem with portfolio managers to develop multi-asset portfolios. 

The private banker has previously undertaken successful stints at Barclays and Lombard Odier, where he serviced an eclectic mix of the Swiss bank’s UHNW clients. After completing his bachelor’s in ancient history at Durham University, Starkie trained as an accountant at Banks Sheridan.
