Stephen Rothwell, business partner at Sarasin & Partners, serves the needs of clients ranging from entrepreneurs to trusts, family offices and international non-doms.

Rothwell, who is an Oxford PPE graduate and started his career in 1996 at Mercury Asset Management, is a chartered financial analyst and holds the IMC (investment management certificate). He joined Sarasin in 2019 after working as head of private merchant banking at Edmond de Rothschild.

Stephen advises a diverse client base made up of entrepreneurs, family businesses, family offices, UHNWs, trusts and UK and international non-dom individuals. He focuses on ‘innovative areas of finance’, ranging from ESG to multi-asset investments and private equity.
