Simon Phillips

Simon Phillips is responsible for all Barclays operations in Guernsey – ranging from retail banking to the fiduciaries, corporate and family office divisions of the business. He took on the role in 2017, having previously been head of captive office insurance and family office banking at Barclays in Jersey.

In addition to Phillips’s country management responsibilities, he heads up the strategic development of the Barclays captive insurance team, which provides banking, credit, investment and trust solutions across the key global captive insurance jurisdictions of Guernsey, the Isle of Man, Gibraltar, Bermuda, the Cayman Islands and onshore US.
