‘Ambitious, focused and driven’ are a few of the words used to describe Shruthi Rao, associate director and founding member of wealth management firm Wealthfusion. 

The firm describes itself as a multi-family office entrenched in traditional values, yet pushed forward by an ethos centred on innovation and exceptional client service. This has been spearheaded by Rao, who previously served as private wealth relationship manager at boutique family office Sun Global, in addition to her experience as assistant vice president at Citi. 

At Wealthfusion, Rao advises on the global management of wealth but has a primary focus on the UK market. She provides advice on all aspects of financial planning, including preserving and diversifying investment portfolios and managing foreign currency market functionalities. 

Rao also advocates for the importance of environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG), a sentiment shared by Wealthfusion, which seeks to ‘incorporate the pillars of ESG and SRI [socially responsible investment] into asset allocation and portfolio selection’ while simultaneously ‘assessing for optimal returns for the client’.
