‘Only one doorway separates dreams from reality, and that’s courage,’ says Belgian chocolatier Pierre Marcolini, who has found global success with Maison Pierre Marcolini’s hand-crafted collections of chocolates, fruit pastes, macarons and ice creams. 

‘Each day is a new opportunity to surprise, pushing the boundaries of what’s possible,’ says Marcolini, whose fine creations are almost too beautiful to eat. He’s pursued his passion since the age of 14, inspired by artisanal methods as well as master pâtissier Gaston Lenôtre. 

The maison now operates over 40 boutiques around the world, including in department stores such as Harrods and Galeries Lafayette.
