‘International politics was always relevant – but it didn’t used to be the primary driver of the global economy,’ he adds. The world has truly changed since Bremmer founded the firm in 1998. In 2001, he developed Wall Street’s first global political risk index. He now leads a network of three integrated businesses: a consulting firm, a platform business (EGx) and a media company (GZERO media).
