BNP Paribas’ Singapore branch is the bank’s South-East Asian headquarters, with around 2,000 employees. Clients, who include large multinationals, local and regional corporations, financial institutions and HNW individuals, seek out the bank’s top-level wealth management and asset management services.

The French private bank hired David Lim in 2019 to help grow its UHNW business in South-East Asia; he is now executive vice chairman for the region and sits on BNP Paribas Wealth Management’s Asia-Pacific executive committee.

Lim joined BNP Paribas from Credit Suisse, and held various senior positions at Julius Baer for 11 years prior.
