An asset management veteran with more than three decades of experience, Andrew Wimble is the director of Owl Private Office. He has spearheaded the firm since it de-merged with Delfin Private Office in April 2020 to focus on its UK clients. In his role, Wimble says, he has undertaken a rigorous and future-proofing analysis of the strategies needed to provide the highest quality advice to the firm’s clients: families, family offices, trustees and charities.

Wimble’s wealth of industry experience has turned him into a globetrotter: he was previously a director of Barclays’ East African wealth management operations, and he travelled across the Middle East during a stint at ANZ Grindlays Bank (acquired by Standard Chartered in 2000).

He is a chartered fellow of CISI and acts as a chair and trustee of several charitable institutions.
