Once a BBC television presenter and reporter on the current affairs programme Here and Now, Anastasia Baker tried to continue working following the birth of her son but soon realised that no agencies were offering the night-time support she needed to keep up with her demanding job.

Having approached 17 agencies with no joy, she had the idea to found Night Nannies in 1999. The company has given over 10,000 parents a good night’s rest, as well as expert solutions to sleep, feeding and routine problems.
