Peter Moores has spent more than three decades working in the financial services industry, including 20 years at Raymond James, where he is country manager and CEO.

Moores’ role entails overseeing Raymond James’ operations in the UK, including its investment services, wealth management and capital markets businesses. The firm’s US-based parent company, Raymond James Financial, is responsible for $1.5 trillion in client assets as of June 2024. 

Moores has said that alongside the company’s board, he has ‘responsibility for the company’s direction in the UK’ and that he enjoys a degree of autonomy ‘with the security and support of being part of something much bigger’. 

A key player in the UK private wealth and asset management industry, he will undoubtedly play a pivotal role in shaping the sector in the years ahead.
