Jeremy Kosky is a partner and senior member of the disputes team in Clifford Chance’s London practice.

He is a specialist in corporate dispute resolution, working on behalf of high-net-worth clients in boardroom disagreements. He told Spear’s: ‘We only do disputes; we won’t write your will or set up trusts. Only the contentious cases, getting involved after something goes wrong. That might be a battle between family members – perhaps one generation is hanging on to a company when they’re no longer relevant to the modern day – or it might be a battle between trustees.’

He is keenly aware of the human element of the work and the mental toll it can take on both sides of the meeting room table. ‘An enormous amount of emotional intelligence is desirable,’ he said.
