Spear’s Review
Richard Marsh joined Grant Thornton in 2006 after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the University of Warwick. He has remained at the firm ever since, climbing up the ranks.
Since 2021, he has assumed the role of partner and leads a team of tax advisers supporting UHNWs. One area of expertise is financial transactions tax, which he says has occupied ‘half [his] career’ and allowed him to work ‘on many different deals, including some in excess of £100 million’.
The Bristol-based adviser credits much of his success to Grant Thornton, having previously said that the firm ‘has a fast-paced, empowered culture which I find extremely rewarding’.
