The Scottish property lawyer moved to Dubai in 2008 and now works with family funds, celebrities, private clients and international real estate firms. Most recently, he led his team on closing a deal for the most expensive residential property purchase in the UAE.

Thomson is not surprised by Dubai’s favourable position as a hub for HNWs looking to purchase prime property compared with other cities. He told Spear’s that ‘Dubai properties are far better value. You get more bang for your buck.’
