Shameer Mehta

Dr Shameer Mehta is a Consultant Gastroenterologist and Lead for Clinical Nutrition at the Cleveland Clinic, London.

His specialist expertise covers colitis, inflammatory bowel disease, Crohn’s Disease, the effect of cancer treatment on digestion and clinical nutrition, including in cases of intestinal failure. He has practised at the Royal London Hospital and is an honorary associate professor at University College London. He is widely published on digestive matters including a paper on the use of artificial intelligence in clinical care and a number on gastroenterology and Covid.
