A consultant in paediatric allergy and immunology at The Portland Hospital, Dr Helen Brough runs the UK’s largest children’s allergy service, based at Evelina London Children’s Hospital, where she also jointly leads the specialist difficult asthma and allergy service. In addition, she heads up allergy transition services for teenagers up to 18 years of age.

Her specialisms include food allergy prevention, diagnosis and treatment, asthma, eczema, immunotherapy and eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorders.

Dr Brough graduated with double honours in Medicine and Experimental Psychology from King’s College, Cambridge University. Following this, she undertook clinical training at the Royal Free and University College London Medical School.  She is also an active researcher and has been widely published in the field of paediatric allergy.
