At Rathbones, Robert Szechenyi runs a three-person team that manages portfolios for high-net-worth individuals, charities, personal pension schemes and family trusts, overseeing around £750 million of assets.

‘I speak to more and more clients who want to know about ethical investing and its performance impact,’ he said. ‘Twenty years of investment performance history have quelled most fears about under-performance of portfolios managed to ethical mandates.’

Szechenyi, who was shortlisted in the Future Leader in Private Client category at the 2019 Spear’s Awards, is a fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and a member of the Rathbones Collective Funds Investment Committee. He has overall responsibility for structured products for the group.
