Richard Elliott, a partner at Boodle Hatfield, acts on a range of corporate and commercial transactions for entrepreneurs, HNW and UHNW individuals, family offices, owner-managed companies and family businesses. 

From M&A and joint ventures to corporate finance, real estate finance and structuring, his practice often crosses borders; he has recently been working with clients in the Middle East, Scandinavia, the US and Australia. 

He has also developed a specialism in luxury asset finance – what he calls an ‘inevitable’ evolution in his work with HNW clients – and advises on the structuring and financing of aircraft, superyachts, supercars and even art collections. 

Elliott told Spear’s: ‘There are two things that are fundamental to working with clients like this. One is being available and being quick to respond ... but, secondly, it’s absolutely confidentiality.’
