Spear’s Review
Angelina Giovani-Agha is both an art historian and a provenance researcher. Experienced in advising on matters related to ethical collecting, due diligence, restitution, good title and provenance gaps, she is highly regarded as a trusted expert. Consequently, her expertise has been sourced by a range of clients including museums, private collectors, family offices, trade dealers, educational institutions and art restitution projects.
Alongside her role as a partner at Flynn & Giovani, she also serves a provenance expert at the Court of Arbitration for Art.
In 2022, Giovani launched the Collections Provenance Rating which is a tool that 'assesses the state of documentation of collections and offers recommendations based on the risk level identified'.
