Kim Wilkie is a landscape architect who has worked on a wide variety of private and commercial projects since founding his own practice in the late 1980s. 

His portfolio includes a long-term landscape restoration project at the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, the revival of the Oxford Botanic Garden, a redesign of the gardens of a French chateau in Toulouse, and the design of a new city for 280,000 people in Oman. 

Wilkie tells Spear’s: ‘One third of my work is on new towns and settlements, another third is on private estates and another third is on institutions. Each place has its own special character and identity, creating a conversation between the physical form and the lives lived and shaped within it.’
