What’s noteworthy is the wide range of cases that come across Kovalevsky’s desk – from cases involving business, finance, stock market dealings, listings and announcements, to corruption, tax, fraud and money laundering. Individual clients’ problems have ranged from allegations of misleading the stock exchange (Sir David Jones) to designing tax schemes that are challenged criminally by HMRC (Martin King, firector of tech unicorn Ve Interactive), Kovalevsky explains, adding that: ‘They include Swiss fiduciaries, entrepreneurs, members of prominent families and politicians.'
