Gillen is responsible for understanding the complex and diverse requirements of the bank’s international HNW and UHNW clients. He advises on a number of issues including lending activities, offshore banking and the full breadth of investment and depositary services. 

He encourages HNWs to look for quality wealth management in a turbulent economic and political landscape. ‘Barclays’ message to clients is that we’ve been a constant. We’ve got a track record of performance and delivering strong returns for clients.’

Gillen is also a member of the Institute of Directors Next Gen Committee in Guernsey.
