Sarah Fairweather moved to superyacht specialists Jaffa & Co from Shoosmiths in 2023 to utilise her expertise as a finance and transactional lawyer in the aviation and marine industries. Here, the legal director continues to oversee complex asset financing and commercial cases, bringing her 20 years of experience to bear.

Examples of cases she has successfully overseen include advising a flag carrier on the purchase of five Airbus aircraft, advising a private equity company on its Boeing financing and security arrangements for its client and advising a company on their negotiations over rolling stock leases worth more than £250 million.

Fairweather trained at Blake Morgan and has worked at Freshfields and Bird & Bird’s offices in Hong Kong.
