Svetlana London graduated as a Russian-qualified lawyer from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2006. Since moving to the UK, she has completed a Graduate Diploma in Law course, the Legal Practice Course and LLM in Professional Legal Practice from the BPP Law School.

Now a dual qualified Russian advocate and English lawyer, London is also the managing partner of CIS London & Partners LLP, an independent law firm advising corporate and private clients on all key aspects of Russian law and law across CIS countries.

The English and Russian-speaking lawyer specialises in legal issues and cross-border transactions with a Russian element. Over the years, she has been selected as a Russian law expert and as a legal adviser for several High Court cases.
