Having co-led the spin-out of her former firm’s private client team to become Maurice Turnor Gardner – a boutique firm of tax lawyers – Murphy began 2020 by launching her latest venture: an advisory practice focusing on succession, family business, risks and disputes.

After 25 years practising law, Arabella Murphy decided to set up a business, having spotted a gap in the market to provide UHNW clients with a more strategic advisory service, designed to complement their existing legal and tax advisers.

Propitious is not a law firm, and Murphy does not give legal advice. Instead, she takes a more holistic approach to a client’s personal and commercial circumstances to help them get the best result.
