Bold & Reeves
London, United Kingdom
‘A recurrent theme among clients over the past few years has been a desire for more service orientated offerings rather than transactional,’ notes Georgina Peech, business development manager at prestigious property management firm Bold & Reeves. ‘People are starting to think about their property with a long-term view as to how to best retain its value in uncertain times.’ Clients are all cash-rich and time-poor, and based all over the world, so they come to Bold & Reeves to help them manage their London and home counties properties.
‘Our unique method, supported by leading-edge technology, is now revolutionising how people look after their homes,’ explains Peech, whose role is ‘to educate the market place to understand that property management doesn’t just fit the rental market. There is huge value in managing your property proactively in order to reduce the ongoing maintenance costs and to protect the value of your asset.’
And clients certainly appear to be satisfied. ‘Bold & Reeves has fundamentally changed the way we think about our property,’ writes one South Kensington based HNW. ‘As a direct result of their proactive management, we have reduced the running costs of our sizeable house by two thirds. That’s what I call a positive result!’
As well as growing the business in terms of the number of properties under management, the firm continues to go from strength to strength in its offering to clients. A recent addition to the service has been the development of ‘a unique remote monitoring service across our client properties, which enables us to predictively maintain properties and know before the occupants themselves of a recent or impending failure,’ she explains.
Peech began her career in estate agency, which stood her in excellent stead for her move into property management. ‘Trust is a huge part of a service-based industry, and I realised quickly in my transition from agency to B&R that I had built trust within my peers and clients which was integral to the business development of B&R,’ she says. In her spare time, you’ll find Peech at home in Battersea with her husband and dog, or in Italy – working on a personal development project, restoring an abandoned borgo in Abruzzo into a boutique hotel.
