Clossick’s career has been spent entirely in the North, having trained at Addleshaw Goddard in Leeds, before joining Gordons LLP.

In 2009, he founded the divorce and family law team at Stewarts in Leeds. And it’s certainly been a heady ride since then. ‘Although my reputation was developed in the Northern market, I would hope that my reputation now extends further afield – I am fortunate that many of my cases involve international jurisdictions and, for example, overseas trust assets,’ he explains.

Adrian is a Partner at Stewarts and the Head of the Divorce and Family Law team in Leeds. Having been a founder member of the team in 2009, Adrian now heads up a team of 10 individuals. 

A significant number of Adrian's cases involve trusts (both on and offshore), commercial and tax issues, family businesses, inherited wealth, international aspects and the tracing of assets. He has considerable expertise in the negotiation of pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements and the treatment of personal injury damages on divorce. 

Adrian has a particular interest in cohabitation claims, including the property rights of unmarried families. Away from the office, Adrian can often be found walking in the Yorkshire Dales.
