After gaining a law degree and working at the US Department of Transportation and Federal Aviation Administration, former US Air Force captain David Hernandez now advises UHNWs on their aircraft transactions as head of Vedder Price’s corporate aircraft practice. 

‘The trend for individuals and organisations to own their own aircraft continues to grow,’ he says. ‘While regulatory demands on this area also seem to increase with every year, I think the value proposition continues to make sense for many.’
