Thomas Flohr claims to spend some 800 hours a year in the air. The billionaire founder/owner of VistaJet built his firm on the premise that time is the ultimate luxury. Since its inception in 2004, Flohr has taken VistaJet from a European start-up operating just two aircraft, to a global aviation company with over 70 mid and long-range jets connecting every continent. The former asset finance executive set out to transform the entire flying experience, ensuring that UHNWs were able to have precisely the experience that they were after, including offering food and drinks at the highest quality. After breaking into the US market in 2013, VistaJet has built momentum ever since.
