The London Resolution
London, United Kingdom
As a Partner to The London Resolution, Clarissa Legg provides clients with a ‘bespoke residential property acquisition service’. Legg acts for UK and international buyers and family trusts who are seeking properties for owner occupation and or investment. ‘Using my in-depth knowledge of the market and extensive network of contacts, I strive to deliver the best possible outcome for my clients from the initial conversation where we discuss the brief through to completion and beyond if required,’ she tells Spear’s of the service offered. A former Home Office researcher, Legg’s career in prime central London started 16 years ago as a buying agent. After five years at Charles Russell Speechlys and two at Savills, she established her own firm in 2013.
‘This enabled me to truly focus on searches where I believe I can deliver the best possible service for the client, but has also opened up the possibility of exciting collaborations with other advisors across the property industry, such as working with The London Resolution,’ she says of the firm’s origins. The London Resolution deploys its critical analysis skills, honed over years of providing professional advice, to guide clients every step of the way. This starts from challenging the brief, utilising its extensive database of contacts during your search, negotiating a realistic market price and providing the due diligence necessary throughout the exchange and completion process. ‘My style is to help maintain a reasoned approach to the entire acquisition process. Invariably, there is a lot of emotion involved in a property transaction, be it on the part of the purchaser, the vendor or both parties.
By providing an independent, honest, analytical approach to the transaction, backed up by statistics and market understanding acquired over 15 years of experience, I help to ensure decisions are made from a position of knowledge,’ she tells Spear’s. Throughout the process, the firm introduces clients you to its ‘tried and tested’ professional contacts: architects, lawyers, building surveyors, as well as specialist suppliers from curtain makers through to locksmiths, all experienced in providing a top quality service.
‘Our Little Black Book is there for you to share and enjoy,’ the firm notes.
