Tom Double, a partner at Brett Wilson, has made a name for himself in a number of landmark media disputes cases, including acting for Dale Vince against Associated Newspapers, GB News and political news site Guido Fawkes.
The former Collyer Bristow and Schillings lawyer says he enjoys the cut and thrust of litigation, but a large part of his practice is still occupied by pre-publication matters and general advisory services for Brett Wilson’s clients, many of whom have been with him or the firm for some time.
It is more a case of quality over quantity for Double: ‘I think, ultimately, our objective is to have fewer clients, but bigger clients, and those who give us repeat work,’ he tells Spear’s.
