Heinrich Henckel

Spear’s Review

Heinrich Henckel, named LGT Wealth Management’s new CEO in October 2025, ‘knows LGT inside out’, Olivier de Perregaux, CEO of LGT Private Banking, said as part of the announcement.

Henckel joined the Liechtenstein bank in 2009 as a member of its executive board before heading up LGT Bank Switzerland from 2013 to 2023. He will take on the wealth management role from January 2026, succeeding long-serving CEO Ben Snee. As of August 2025, LGT Wealth Management has £31.1 billion in assets under management, making it one of the largest wealth management firms operating in the UK.

‘In Heinrich Henckel, an experienced and long-standing banker with in-depth knowledge of both LGT and the industry, we are gaining a highly capable leader who will ensure the continued development of our UK business with skill and reliability,’ Prince Max von und zu Liechtenstein said.
