Oliver Gilsenan is the managing director of Lionheart Education, one of the UK’s longest established providers of private tuition and educational consultancy services.

In addition to matching families with specialist tutors who provide bespoke educational programmes, Lionheart operates its own school. The one-to-one school accepts a very small number of students per year – up to 13 – and follows a highly personalised model whereby each child gets their own room and programme. ‘Whatever a client needs, we will either develop a service for them or have someone trusted within our network to refer them to,’ Gilsenan tells Spear’s.  

He adds that he is also committed to approaching education with a ‘deep understanding of mental health’, having more recently opened Lions Campus, a healthcare-first accommodation designed for young people in recovery programmes.
