Robert Lindley

Robert Lindley is an accomplished attorney who heads up Conyers’ private client and trust practices in the Cayman Islands and the British Virgin Islands.

Lindley is consulted on matters relating to offshore trust structuring and administration, as well as governance, estate planning and wills, among other matters. As an attorney-advocate, he appears in the local Cayman courts when things go awry. It is his skill in handling both non-contentious and contentious matters which Lindley says clients find comfort in. ‘They like the fact that we can do the advisory work on structuring, but then we also think ahead as to what can go terribly wrong,’ he explains to Spear’s.

Alongside advising UHNW families, family offices and trustees, Lindley also has an offshore philanthropy practice which has seen him act pro bono for the King’s Trust (formerly Prince’s Trust) in establishing its offshore presence in the Caribbean.
