British designers Elliot March and James White founded MAWD in 2010; the interior architecture and design firm now has studios in London, New York, Dubai and Los Angeles. (March is based in the latter.)
Well known for outfitting superyachts and private homes for HNWs around the world, they also have clients in the hospitality, property development and branded residence spaces, and have completed projects at the Mandarin Oriental, the Shard and Heatherwick Studio’s Lantern House.
Both March and White have strong architectural backgrounds, and have pioneered the idea of ‘experience-centric design’, which puts clients at the heart of a project, ‘resulting in spaces that are relevant and authentic’, according to the firm.
